The real Crucio overlay

How It Works

1

Launch Crucio

Run the app before your exam. It loads as an invisible overlay on top of everything — including locked browsers.

2

Capture a Question

Press your capture hotkey. Crucio screenshots the question and sends it to AI instantly.

3

Get Your Answer

The answer appears on your overlay in seconds. Toggle visibility on and off with a hotkey.

Guides

1
Disable Windows Security
Temporarily disable real-time protection so Windows doesn't quarantine the file.
  • Open Windows Security (search it in Start)
  • Go to Virus & threat protection
  • Click Manage settings
  • Toggle off Real-time protection
Why? Crucio uses advanced system-level techniques that trigger false positives. It does not contain malware. You can re-enable protection after setup.
2
Download Crucio
Go to crucio.xyz/loader and enter your license key to download CrucioSetup.exe.
3
Add an Exclusion Folder
Prevent Windows from deleting Crucio when you re-enable protection:
  • In Virus & threat protection settings, scroll to Exclusions
  • Click Add or remove exclusions
  • Add a Folder exclusion for where you saved CrucioSetup.exe
4
Run CrucioSetup
Double-click CrucioSetup.exe. If SmartScreen pops up:
  • Click More info
  • Click Run anyway
5
Enter Your License Key
When prompted, paste your license key. The overlay will activate and appear on screen.
  • Your key is locked to your device on first use
  • The overlay runs invisibly — use the hotkey to toggle it
6
Re-enable Windows Security
Turn Real-time protection back on. As long as the exclusion folder is set, Crucio won't be touched.

All default keybinds. Premium users can customize every key.

FAQ

Is it really undetectable?
Yes. Crucio runs as a system-level overlay, not a browser extension. It works on top of Lockdown Browser and any other locked-down testing software. There are no tabs, no processes with suspicious names, and no trace left behind.
Do you store my screenshots or answers?
No. Your screenshots go directly to the AI and are never stored on our servers. We keep zero logs. Nothing is saved unless you enable the local save feature (Premium).
What exams does it work with?
Any exam you can see on your screen — Canvas, Blackboard, McGraw-Hill, Pearson, Respondus Lockdown Browser, and more. If you can see the question, Crucio can capture and answer it.
How does the license key work?
After purchase, you get a unique license key instantly. Enter it in Crucio to activate your plan. The key is locked to your device — save it in case you need to reinstall. Upgrade anytime by purchasing a new plan.
